SHREWSBURY-James F. Nally passed away Thursday, May 17, 2012. James leaves his wife, Mary E. (Kelleher) Nally; his son, James F. Nally, Jr. and his wife Tina; his daughter-in-law, Cathleen A. Nally wife of the late John J. Nally and several grandchildren.

James was born in Worcester the son of Edward M. and Celia (Beatty) Nally. He graduated from Commerce High School and earned his associates degree from Quinsigamond Community College. James served in the U.S. Navy during WW II. After the service he was a Worcester firefighter retiring as Chief in 1987.

James’ visiting hours will be Sunday, May 20 from 3:00 to 6:00 pm at CALLAHAN & FAY BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 61 Myrtle St. His funeral will be on Monday, May 21 at 10:30 am in St. Peter’s Church, 931 Main St. Burial will be in St. John’s Cemetery.
